About Huatulco, Oaxaca, Mexico

Properly called Bahias de Huatulco, the area is named for the series of protected bays which offer visitors expansive unspoiled beaches in the Oaxacan Sun.

	Huatulco is located in the southern Mexico state of Oaxaca. Central to the area is the town of La Crucecita, a popular cruise ship stop.

	The Huatulco area is well known for its 36 pristine beaches, and 9 bays, which provide opportunities for fun including fishing, snorkeling and scuba.
	The Bahias de Huatulco (Bays of Huatulco) consist of a series of nine sheltered bays. Many of the bays are accessible only by a short boat ride.
	Villa Pacifico overlooks Tangalunda Bay; several others are visible from the Villa.

	The park in La Crucecita, Oaxaca (minutes by taxi from Villa Pacifico) is popular with visitors and locals alike. It is surrounded by shopping, entertainment and dining.
	In addition to fine dining and shopping, La Crucecita also offers opportunities to experience local song and dance.

See the "Real Mexico" -- up close, personal, clean and comfortable

	You need not venture far from La Crucecita to experience the "real Mexico".  The town of Santa Maria Huatulco is just a short drive from the Villa.
	For the adventurous, the charming mountain town of Pluma Hildago is famous for its locally grown and packaged coffee and chocolate. Interesting and delicious!
